Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” – Galatians 6:9-10

Program: The program will feature the testimony of our guest speaker, Brother Andrew, born into a religious Egyptian-Sunni Muslim family who were very committed to Islam. Brother Andrew grew up devoted to Islam and performed Islamic rituals in a mosque in Cairo. His faith in Islam was greatly shaken when he shockingly discovered that his father had married another woman, secretively after 30 years of marriage. Within three months, while reading through the Qur’an in search of the truth about God, Brother Andrew noticed hundreds of problems within the writings of the Qur’an and began questioning the authenticity of the God of Islam. This pursuit led him to become an atheist. By God’ Grace in 1997, Brother Andrew met the Lord through a Brazilian missionary in Amman, Jordan. During his 25 years in the faith, he was imprisoned three times in Egypt, summoned to the state security agency 16 times, and was banned from traveling out of Egypt for six years. The Lord graciously pulled him out of the January 2011 Egyptian Revolution, and he later left for America in April 2011. He has been married to an MBB (Muslim Background Believer) wife, Noura for 25 years and together they serve at Al Karma TV presenting over 530 live programs such as, “Voice of MBB’s” and “I am not an Infidel.” Throughout the years, Brother Andrew has also participated in other Al Karma TV programs which include, “Christ in the Prophecies,” “Desire of the Nations,” “Faith is Proclamation and Life,” “Biblical Responses to Satanic Lies,” and “You Ask and the Bible Answers.” Brother Andrew holds a master’s in theology from Hope University in California and currently resides in California with his family. In addition, there will be worship, testimonies, special ethnic music, and prayer during the banquet.
